I want to get a feel from our readers regarding the usage of heairng aids on the weekend versus the work week. I suppose this is relevan mostly to those people who are currently employed or are going to school. For those who are retired, please let me know if you change your hearing aid pattern on the weekend bu that would surprise me a bit.
I am wondering if some people treat their hearing aids in a similar way to how they treat their watch. Some people are very good at wearing their watch to work but it feels to them as though it is part of their work persona and in turn, they want to shed their watch on Saturday and Sunday.
Am I way off here? Forgive me if I am. The unfortunate reality is that a great majority of people who use hearing aids do not find them comfortable. This makes me wonder if people are using them more during times where they feel as though hearing is more crucial i.e. at work or school.
The challenge is that people may actually need to wear hearing aids at home just as much in order to communicate well with their family members.
This topic seemed innocent enough but it actually seems to hit on some crucial and sensitive topics within the world of hearing aids.
