Hearing Aids 1000

Hearing Aids at sporting event

by Jason on December 12, 2010

It is Sunday in the US and most every warm blooded American is getting set to watch their favorite football team do battle. If people are watching at home they either use their hearing aid or they have the TV cranked up way to loud and are driving their friends and families bonkers.

I am wondering more about how people who wear hearnig aids deal with the loud volumes at that actual games. An NFL game can have 70,000 people screaming at the top of their lungs. This is a great deal of sound for a hearing aid to process. Do people turn their hearing aids down prior to entering the stadiums? Do you remove them in the parking lot?

If anyone reading this has experience with hearing aids at a sporting event, can you please give us an insight into your experience? Thanks!
