I hate to bring the thought of fall in the middle of a wonderful summer but school will be here soon. We have all read recently about episodes of bullying occurring in schools. We must all be aware of the risk that children with hearing aids face at school. This is simply a horrible reality. Children do not understand hearing aids and they often mock what they do not understand.
As the time comes closer to send our kids back to school be very diligent in making sure that they are protected from any bullies if they use hearing aids. Thanks and have a great summer!
