I spent a wonderful day today with my daughter in the mountains. We did some skiing, ate some food and messed around. As you can guess, I wondered about hearing aids in these snowy conditions. Are hearing aids designed to deal with not only the cold but more importantly, the wet that comes along with the snow?
I guess on some question I am asking about how water proof are hearing aids. Not ver I suspect is the answer.
The other issue is (even the best skiers) the tremendous falls that can happen. It is very common for falls to occur and that would be very dangerous to the hearing aid. Not only could it be crushed, even worse, it could be lost. So please chime in if you wear a hearing aid and have dealt with the snow. How did you do it?
