It is a big big football weekend so again it makes me wonder about those people who wear hearing aids and how they work in the stadiums. I was just at a Seattle Seahawks game where the loud crowd actually caused a siesmic event. This was LOUD. How would this affect a hearing aid was my first thought.
The challenge that is thrown to the hearing aid is filtering out all the massive crowd noise. Can the aids deal with that while still allowing the wearer to speak with his or her buddy next to them about the game? That is what I am wondering.
Do you simply leave your hearing aid at home when you go to a loud stadium or are they more crucial than ever? Can anyone with experience on this please add a post? Thanks!
