I spend an hour a day dreaming about up coming matches and seeing if there is any new news about Arsenal, my favorite team. In all my days of playing and watching soccer I dont recall seing a hearing aid being used. Do any of our readers wear their hearing aids while playing soccer or any other sports?

Certainly the best guess is that valuable hearing aids should not be subject to the risk of injury in contact sports. The challenge is that hearing is such massive piece of sports success. Hearing your team mates, hearing the defender running up your backside and more.

My hope is that the smaller and stronger hearing aids that are being produced will allow a change and we will see more of them being used in sport. Please let me know if you have any experience or thoughts on the topic.
