Another independence day has come and gone for our country and all I can think about is the hearing damage down by fireworks this year. It is such a shame that these loud fireworks hurt the ears of people in our country every single year. It is as if we don’t want to learn.
But rather than focus on the loss of hearing from tragedy I want to ask the people wearing hearing aids if they choose to keep them in during the watching of fireworks or if they remove them. It seems to me that the rumble from fireworks is almost felt as much as it is heard and therefore does not require the use of hearing aids but I could be very wrong. Please let me know!
